RideMesh Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RideMesh mobile application and web services. By creating an account or using RideMesh, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Commute Sharing, Not Commercial Ride-Hailing

RideMesh is a peer-to-peer community commute-sharing platform. RideMesh is not a commercial ride-hailing or taxicab company.

• Drivers post empty seats on daily trips they are already making to work, home, or school.
• Seat contributions are fixed upfront to offset shared driving costs (fuel/tolls) and are not dynamic commercial fares or surging fees.

2. Eligibility & Identity Verification

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register for a RideMesh account.
• Mandatory Verification: Every user must undergo Government Identity (NIN) and facial liveness verification before posting or booking a ride.
• Community Affiliation: Matching is restricted to verified members of verified corporate, estate, or academic communities.

3. Safety & User Conduct

• Users must adhere to all traffic laws, maintain valid vehicle documentation and insurance (for drivers), and treat fellow commuters with respect.
• QR Boarding Requirement: Both passenger and driver must complete the QR check-in protocol before commencing a ride.
• Zero Tolerance Policy: Physical abuse, harassment, illegal substance use, or fraud will result in immediate permanent suspension and report to authorities.

4. Trust Score & Reviews

• RideMesh calculates a persistent 35/35/30 Trust Score based on verification, history, and peer reviews.
• Submitting false, malicious, or manipulated ratings is strictly prohibited.

5. Limitation of Liability

RideMesh provides matching and safety software tools. Users participate in shared commutes at their own discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideMesh is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform use.

6. Amendments & Contact
